Games are relatively loose, with lots of casino players and new recruits, and the rake at Fair Poker is also slightly better than the average online. FULL REVIEW - Fair Poker (6.94)
Due to U.S. legislation preventing credit card companies from collecting payments for wagers made by U.S. residents, Fair Poker has determined to suspend all real-money gaming business in the United States.
Fair Poker is another of the new poker rooms on the iPoker network initiative developed by PlayTech. The network took a hit with the U.S. online gambling ban but is recuperating rapidly and has a high influx of players. Games are somewhat loose, with lots of casino players and new recruits, and there are often some very high-value promotions through PokerListings that continuously draw players to the site.
Fair Poker and the iPoker network have been successful in quickly building a good player base and now offer what could be the best deposit and withdrawal options in the world.
The software looks good and offers good playability with easy-to-navigate tables and lobby.
Games offered include Hold'em, Seven-Card Stud, Omaha Hi and Hi-Lo. Ring games, as well as heads-up, sit-and-go and multi-table tournaments are all offered. A little strange is the fact that it offers Seven-Card Stud only in the high version.
Fair Poker features plenty of tournaments and freerolls with great value. The traffic volume overall is in the middle segment of the industry. Real-money player statistics as of August 2008 show 10,000 ring-game players at peak hours and 55,000 tournament players at peak hours.
Overall, Fair Poker offers relatively loose games and good software that plays well, even though the game pace is on the slow side. The software is updated frequently to ensure safety and stability, with little downtime as a result.
