(Note: this poker room does not allow U.S. players). Mansion Poker was originally a stand-alone poker room known for great software, innovative functions and big overlay tournaments. Looking to expand their game variety and player volume, however, Mansion switched over to first the Ongame network, and now the iPoker network, dramatically increasing its game offerings and player base and giving players access to $10 million available each month in iPoker tournaments. FULL REVIEW - Mansion Poker (6.88)

Due to U.S. legislation preventing credit card companies from collecting payments for wagers made by U.S. residents, Mansion Poker has determined to suspend all real-money gaming business in the United States.

Mansion Poker was one of the few really serious stand-alone poker operators to launch in recent years, offering players poker, casino games and a sportsbook through just one account. Mansion Poker had great success as a stand-alone poker room and built a very decent player base of European and American players alike.

After the passing of the UIGEA however, Mansion Poker was looking to expand their game variety and player volume and subsequently joined the Ongame poker network in 2007. The move dramatically increased their game offerings and player base. They've since gone one step further and moved to the iPoker network, again increasing player traffic and game options.

Mansion Poker offer great value guaranteed tournaments, fantastic freerolls with prize pools up to $15,000 and qualifiers to many live poker events. Players also now have access to the $10 million available each month in iPoker tournaments, not to mention the $4.15 million ECOOP and the great sit-and-go jackpots.

The Mansion Poker software - now provided by the iPoker network - is very good. The games offered at Mansion Poker are Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Five-Card Stud and Seven-Card Stud. The games vary between No-Limit, Pot-Limit and Fixed-Limit. Full-ring, shorthanded and heads-up tables are all available.

The traffic volume overall has received a nice boost from joining first Ongame and now iPoker. Real-money player statistics as of October 2008 show 10,000 ring-game players at peak hours and 55,000 tournament players at peak hours.
