Game Variety (7)

Mansion Poker now offers the same game variety of the iPoker network, with Texas Hold'em, Omaha Hi-Lo, Omaha Hi, Five-Card Stud and Seven-Card Stud all available in Limit and Pot-Limit, and Texas Hold'em available in No-Limit as well.

Table stakes are from 50¢/$1 to $30/$60 in the fixed games, and 5¢-10¢ up to $50/$100 in Pot-Limit and Limit games. No-Limit and Pot-Limit Hold'em is offered with 1¢/2¢ to $25/$50 blinds.

Heads-up, sit-and-go and fixed-schedule multi-table tournaments are all offered and traffic is especially excellent at the sit-and-go tournaments, thanks to the jackpots offered.

Ring Game Traffic (8)

Traffic at Mansion Poker was somewhat low in the early days, but received a nice jump on Ongame and another boost to the top of the industry with the move to iPoker. There are always several games to choose from at most low- and mid-stakes No-Limit and Limit Hold'em games. More and more players are also showing interest in Omaha and Seven-Card Stud. Mansion Poker has peak cash-game traffic of 10,000 real-money players at peak hours (December 2008).

Soft Competition (9)

The competition at Mansion Poker ranges from very loose at the micro- and low-limits to relatively loose at higher-stakes games. You can't look at the top-stakes games for soft competition, but still you can at times find $5/$10 No-Limit Hold'em tables with a viewed-flop percentage of 35-40%. Overall, many Hold’em games have a viewed-flop percentage in the 40s and 50s.

Rake (7)

The rake at Mansion Poker is on par with the industry for standard games. At the big-bet tables, the rake is relatively low in comparison to the smaller stakes, where a larger part of the total pot is raked. A rake of 5% is taken on every pot, but is capped at $3 in full ring games that include six players or more. There is a "no flop, no drop" policy for hands not reaching the flop.
