MarketPulse is THE premier source online for unique statistical breakdowns of the online poker industry, updated hourly. Through our proprietary software we are monitoring all major poker rooms and networks and are tracking, storing and analyzing literally millions of hand histories a day.

MarketPulse offers:

Details include the date and exact time of the hand, the winner, the loser(s), the poker room, game, stakes and total pot size. • A real-time list of the top 100 moneymakers and top 100 money losers in online poker over the last day, week, month and year drawn from millions of cash-game hands tracked by the MarketPulse software. Search by poker room, game type, stakes and timeframe.
• A real-time list of the top 100 most aggressive and top 100 least aggressive players in online poker based on the PokerListings.com "Aggression Factor" (bets+raises/calls). All figures based on cash games only and updated hourly.
• A real-time list of the 100 players in online poker with the highest BB/100 and lowest BB/100 over the last day, week, month and year. BB/100 = Big Bets won per 100 hands played; considered the truest measure of a player's success as it can be applied regardless of stakes.
• A real-time list of the 100 players in online poker with the Highest VP$IP and Lowest VP$IP over the last day, week, month and year. VP$IP = Voluntarily Put Money In Pot; a general measure of loose or tight play. This number is the percentage of times a player voluntarily enters a pot pre-flop and includes any action other than checking an unraised pot in the big blind (considered a forced bet).

New networks are constantly being added to the MarketPulse statistical umbrella, but the primary focus is on the biggest and most relevant networks with the bulk of online player traffic.

For some of the above networks, MarketPulse only tracks general activity, such as how many games are going on at various game types and stakes and how many players are participating.

On the biggest networks, however, such as Full Tilt, MarketPulse tracks much more specific and in-depth information. That includes millions of individual hands played, which allows for the display of more precise statistics such as the biggest pots, highest earners, etc.

MarketPulse tracks all game types and stakes available on the above networks. For certain categories, however, the parameters are narrowed to a more exact tracking range.

For example, for the biggest pots section, only the highest-stakes games where the biggest pots are likely to happen are monitored.

Very. The feed from the tracking software is continuous, processing data 24 hours a day and updating every five minutes. On the live PokerListings.com site, however, the information is updated hourly.
